The quality control section operates as a source measuring the product quality, and is responsible for testing the medicines and health products in terms of quality so that they are permitted to be supplied to the market, including analysis and control of sample collected from the market.

This section is responsible for review and implementation of disciplinary or punitive orders (in cooperation with relevant entities) on all the public and private establishments that are involved in manufacturing, importation, storage, dispensing and distribution of medicines and health products.
