Director General of Pharmaceutical and Health Products Regulation Travels to Türkiye Leading a Technical Delegation

Dr. Hafiz Naimullah Ayubi, Director General of Pharmaceutical and Health Products Regulation under the Food and Drug Deputy Ministry of the Ministry of Public Health of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, departed yesterday, Friday, 18 Sha’ban 1447 AH, for Türkiye on an official visit at the head of a technical delegation.

During the visit, the delegation is scheduled to meet with officials of the Turkish Medicines and Medical Devices Agency (TİTCK) to discuss and exchange views on important issues related to the regulation of medicines and health products. The program of the visit also includes technical tours of several pharmaceutical manufacturing factories in Türkiye to benefit from that country’s experience and technological advancements in pharmaceutical production.

It is expected that this visit will help strengthen cooperation and enhance coordination between the two countries in the production and importation of medicines, thereby improving both short-term and long-term access of citizens to high-quality medicines at reasonable prices.
